Results & Tracked Record

Every bet we publish, settled at Starting Price β€” honestly. We only call something an edge where the data backs it.

I keep this page because a tip means nothing without a record behind it. Everything I publish is settled at the industry Starting Price at level stakes, winners and losers alike β€” no cherry-picking. Below is how each bet type has actually performed; the headline is the Nap, the one selection I found a genuine, out-of-sample edge on. Read the full method β†’

These land often and are fun to follow, but they're not proven money-makers. We publish their real numbers anyway.

🎲 Daily Double

Fun win double β€” both must win. Lands often, roughly break-even.

Fifteen bets on four picks. Its singles mean one winner returns something β€” but usually less than the Β£15 stake, so most β€œreturns” are still a loss.

Our other fancied runners. For interest β€” not profitable.

How we measure it. Level stakes (1 point per bet), settled at Starting Price (SP) β€” the same way a betting shop pays. ROI is profit Γ· total staked. We removed an Each-Way tip once the data showed no place edge, and we don't claim the accumulators or Value as profitable β€” because they aren't. Past performance is not a guarantee of future results. 18+ Β· Please gamble responsibly.

Frequently asked questions

How do you calculate ROI?

ROI (return on investment) is profit divided by total stake, at level one-point stakes. So +19% ROI means that for every Β£100 staked evenly across the picks, Β£19 came back as profit.

What is Starting Price (SP)?

The SP is the official industry price returned on a horse at the off β€” the price a high-street betting shop settles at. I use it so the record reflects a price anyone could realistically have taken, not a fleeting best price.

Why settle at SP rather than the best available odds?

Best-odds records flatter themselves, because nobody actually gets the top price on every horse. SP is the honest, conservative benchmark β€” if the numbers stack up at SP, they would only look better taking early prices in practice.

Which of your tips actually makes a profit?

Only the Nap shows a genuine, out-of-sample edge. The Daily Double, Trixie, value picks and Lucky 15 are tracked for interest and are not sold as profit-makers β€” the numbers for each are published anyway.

Do you include losing bets in the record?

Yes β€” every published selection is settled and logged, win or lose. A tipping record that quietly drops its losers isn't worth the pixels; the whole point of this site is that it doesn't.

How often is the record updated?

It is re-settled automatically every night after racing, so new results roll into the totals as soon as races are officially called.
